Museo Interactivo de la Lengua (MIL)

Este diseño de marca se hizo directamente con el equipo del museo por medio del estudio Letra Case. Letra Case es una fundidora de tipografía digital mexicana integrada por los Maestros Cristóbal Henestrosa y Raúl Plancarte.

El lineamiento principal del cliente era obtener un diseño en donde la tipografía fuera lo esencial, y debería de funcionar también como imagen. Es por ello que el símbolo está inspirado en el mundo de los ambigramas de rotación, en el que de manera abstracta puede leerse MIL. La composición del nombre y su leyenda está hecha con tipografía a la medida, logrando transmitir un sentido sólido y contemporáneo.

This brand design was done directly with the museum team through the Letra Case studio. Letra Case is a Mexican digital typography foundry integrated by the Masters Cristobal Henestrosa and Raul Plancarte.

The main line of the client was to obtain a design where the typography was the essential element, and it should also work as an image. That's why the symbol is inspired in the world of rotation ambigrams, in which in an abstract way you can read MIL. The composition of the name and its legend is made with custom typography, managing to convey a solid and contemporary sense.
